Dense dark ruby red colour. Pure and fragrant nose of violet, wild berries, crème de cassis, tobacco and fine oak. The palate has a nice concentration and texture, dense but supple and grainy with layers of juicy ripe fruit, fine hints of cocoa, clove and pepper with a fresh backbone, and a dense, vigorous and very long finish. Elegant but powerful and structured for long ageing, very promising.
