Inky dark youthful colour with a flush of purple. Pure, ripe and intense nose offering fine oak and butterscotch, some truffle with blackberry; cassis and violet notes. It shows good volume on the palate with ripe but youthful extract and tannin, savoury dark berry flavours with a fine spiciness and long rounded finish; it has certainly gained in polish and finesse.
