Château Saint Robert – Cuvée Poncet Deville – 2015

Dense ruby red core with a lighter rim. Fragrant nose, finely layered with some new oak, vanilla, cherry, cassis and tobacco notes. Medium weight on the palate, still a bit tight and tannic with some herbal spiciness, plum and cassis notes with a rather long finish. Youthful and tight deserving more time.
