Château Sainte Barbe – 2014

Dark ruby/purple colour. Youthful nose displaying roasted oak, dark berries, mocha and leather. The palate is dense and concentrated, with fleshy dark fruit, some notes of mint and sage, good oak but still with a tannic presence. Ripe and warm with a long finish and fresh dark fruit. Needs some more time but ambitious indeed.
