Château Sansonnet – 2009

Saint Emilion
, Grand Cru
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
France,
Bordeaux,
Very bright and opaque colour, aromatically it's still young and fairly closed, but, with a great level of ripeness and purity, fine oak, roasted notes, blackberry, chocolate, liquorice and a hint of plum confiture, very intense and concentrated palate, intense dark fruit flavours, yet with a high level of freshness, purity and elegance, fine tuned tannins and a long finish, it needs some more time but will become very good.
