Dark core and a purple hue. Pure dark fruity nose with violet, cassis and plum, no noticeable oak. Fairly dense slightly austere palate with a fresh acidity, savoury dark fruit and mild spices, fine material and length, still a bit youthful and restrained needing another 1-2 years of ageing.
