France,
Bordeaux,
Deep ruby-red colour, still with a very dense core. Youthful, purple hue as well. Quite intense nose. Generous already combining some earthy notes, with leather, dark fruit, plum and blackcurrant. A slight spiciness, a hint of wood. Quite dense palate. Full body, both with quite a lot of extract. Still rather youthful but fairly rounded tannin. There is inky dark fruit, with flavours of plum and blackcurrant. With spicy hints of anise seed. I think the integration of oak is pretty fine already. There is good grip and good length. Still a bit youthful on the finish, but surely a wine that should develop quite well.
