France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
The wine has a moderately deep colour, ruby-red but still with a slight hint of purple. Fresh nose of quite a mix of red and dark fruit, crushed berries with dark plum. No oakiness to talk about. Some spicy notes of liquorice, some wild herbs. Medium weight on the palate. With a quite sweet fruit. Rather ripe, good juiciness here, the texture is well-rounded. So not a lot of tannins. There is tannin that adds to the structure and weight but well-rounded already with juicy those fresh crushed berries. Good level of acidity. Quite long and lingering finish. A wine with an attractive drinkability already or the potential for another two to three years in the cellar.
