Dense intense core but some development on the rim. Dry spices - pepper, clove, almond and dried herbs with black plum, cherry and kirsch notes. The palate is still in a youthful phase with dense dark fruit, grippy tannin and some new oak hints, yet potent with overall good balance, just needing some more time in the cellar to open.
