Israel,
Ramat Hagolan,
Red wine with a youthful and medium intense colour I would say, ruby-red slightly lighter towards the rim. Quite subtle nose, I would say with a moderate level of ripeness here, I get more on the red berry notes here, with some herbal hints, some fresh herbs, red currant and plum. The palate indicates that this feels more like a moderate climate, higher degree of acidity here, more on the red fruity side, make me think of more of a Cabernet Franc of Loire, in terms of style with those red currants, some of those herbal notes. Good level of freshness, tannins are still present, but they are quite fine; but I think over the course of the coming two years it will be at perfect drinkability here. Nicely vinified, rounded, with a juicy freshness and that attractive red fruit.
