Israel,
Ramat Hagolan,
Red wine with a medium toward deep ruby-red colour, still with a hint of blue-purple at the core. Really fine nose here, I really like those slightly roasted flavours there, quality oak, not too much of it, but just a slight hint of vanilla and coffee beans, in combination of ripe dark fruit here, like cassis and plum. Really good density on the palate here, concentrated fruit, good extract, quite polished, still just a bit youthful. I also think that the slight presence of oak on the palate does a good job there, it just adds some of those roasted slightly smoky flavours. Acidity feels really well balanced as well, adding a lift to that dark fruit. Another wine I would say that is slightly more than medium weight, mainly good concentration of fruit, it has persistence and length. It certainly has a good potential for the cellar. I like this one.
