Inky dark core and a lighter rim. Fine nose starting to display some complexity with truffle, wet earth, wild berries and a fine toastiness. Rather full palate, generous fruit, still a youthful texture with present but ripe tannin, a fresh acidity, sweet and ripe fruit flavours, some herbal spice notes with good oak integration and a long finish.
