Clos de La George – Chardonnay – 2010

Bright colour, light golden nuance, still with a whiff of green. Pure nose, still quite youthful, offering ripe apple, pear, grapefruit and lemon, with a level of nuttiness like chopped almond, hazelnut. No oak. Good grip on the palate, very vital with a crisp acidity. Mouthwatering, almost with a sensation of skin contact there. Slight phenolic presence adding to the length and freshness. Pure and juicy fruit, almost like fresh apple must. Good grip on the finish, in a very salivating and very digest style with the presence of oak. Long pure finish.
