Switzerland,
Vaud,
Medium towards deep ruby-red core, still fairly youthful. Fine nose, quite layered, with pepper, spices, clove, dark berry character. Discrete wood. Nice grip on the palate, the wine is rather full but I think it has a very nice texture. The tannins are integrated. It’s marked by a fresh acidity; we have that purple, like blackberries, cassis, underlined by that spiciness of cinnamon, pepper, clove. Very juicy, still appearing rather youthful; texture is rounded, so the fruit really emerges on the palate with those lovely crushed berries. Pretty discreet oak, and a very good length. I really like this; very pure, very precise, with a fine spiciness and elegance. Really a wine for the fine tables.
