Dark inky purple hue. Pure nose of spicy dark fruit with modest oak, notes of blackberry, plum and cassis with clove and pepper. Dense palate with a rounded texture, grainy tannin, peppery and spicy notes, fresh backbone and a long spicy finish. Ample and generous yet with good drinkability.
