Dark garnet core and hue. Pure and floral nose with mild oak, toast and butterscotch, violet, blackberry, raspberry, leather and truffle with a gentle smokiness. The palate shows good bite and concentration with modest extraction, grainy tannin, sweet fruit but well-preserved freshness, peppery and meaty notes on the finish with fine persistency.
