Clos du Chatelard – Chardonnay – 2010

Youthful light straw colour. Pure and fresh nose, displaying ripe lemon, butter and some stone fruit, pear; but still, rather than fruity this is more of a discreet mineral style. Palate is on the lighter side in terms of structure and weight; it has a very good freshness on the palate, good grip, mouthwatering with zesty youthful fruit. Fairly long finish, and a hint of nuttiness on the aftertaste.
