Clos du Chêne – Le Péché – 2015
Cahors

France,
Sud Ouest,
Dark inky purple core. Youthful nose offering violet, jammed dark berries, new oak and dry spices. The palate is dense and still oak dominated with a rather high level of extraction and tannin, high acidity, discreet fruit and a rather long finish. Ambitious but still a bit "raw" and unfinished needing time to soften.
