Inky dark purple colour. Ripe and floral nose offering cassis, plum, sage, mild spices and tobacco leaf. Dense and concentrated palate, no hard edges but still quite grippy young tannins, fresh dark fruit, cassis notes, a fresh herbal spiciness with bay leaf and sage notes, and a fresh and vigorous finish with very good length. Still too young to enjoy to its fullest but should develop truly well, fine nuance and layers.
