Dark black/purple colour. Modern expression with some new oak, ripe dark fruit, cassis, liquorice and tobacco. The palate is dense and concentrated, with rather high extraction, still some tannic presence, layers of ripe dark berries and a rounded acidity, good length, but still a bit restrained needing time to open.
