Clos Saint Michel – Cuvée Réservée – 2016

Rather dark colour with a purple hue. Pure and polished nose with layers of darker fruit, cassis and kirsch with some liquorice and pepperiness. The palate is packed and dense with nice layers of ripe dark fruit, fine extraction and grainy tannin as well as a good notion of freshness with a long and persistent finish. Very good and highly potent.
