Intense dark core with a lighter rim. Pure nose, still on the youthful side with slightly darker fruit notes, chocolate shavings, cassis and dark plum with a hint of garrigue and pepper. The palate is dense and structured with a good level of freshness, crushed dark berry flavours, ripe but present tannin adding lift and bite, and a long and intense finish. Finely built.
