France,
Sud Ouest,
Red wine with medium towards deep ruby-red colour. Quite intense nose here, I would say a rather traditional style. We have some gamey and leathery notes here, a combination with sweet plum and red berries. Medium weight on the palate here, still with a quite tannic gripe here, rather pronounced in terms of tannin, high acidity, and then we have a lot spiciness going on there. Dry spices, some of those slightly meaty and leathery notes. We have some herbal spiciness as well; like fresh herbs, bay leaf. Quite long lasting finish, but still a bit on the robust and rustic side. Traditional style I would prefer to put back a little bit in the cellar for further development.
