Clos Triguedina – The New Black Wine – 2014
Cahors

															France,
				 Sud Ouest,
Inky dark core with a mature ruby towards the tawny rim. The nose displays some maturity with dried fruit - prune, figs, licorice, leather, pepper, tobacco, and mild oak notes. Dense paöate, still a youthful texture with rigid tannin, wood and vanilla notes with a core of black fruit, still more tannin/acidity than fruit on the palate, it shows a long finish but a bit on the austere and dry side.
