Dark ruby core but a mature tawny rim. Mature nose, some roasted notes, dark cherry, tobacco, some dried fruit and woody notes. The palate is rich and dense with plenty of weight and a young texture, firm tannin, spicy dark fruit, liquorice, dark berries and a fresh acidity underneath. Long finish. Still a bit tight but potent.
