Dark dense core with a mature tawny rim. The nose offers ripe dark fruit with cassis, dark cherry, sage and tobacco notes with a hint of oak. The palate is dense and concentrated. Still fairly extracted with present oak, good material and nice layers of fruit but still appearing young needing some more time to gain suppleness and harmony. Open after another 2-3 years.
