Deep pink colour with an orange hue and mild mousseux. Intense nose reminiscent of a red burgundy with raspberry, plum, pain d’épices and some oak notes. The palate is full bodied with dense red fruit flavours, well-integrated tannin and oak, yet far from an aperitif style Champagne, grippy and long finish with a mild creaminess. A virtual burgundy with bubbles but well-done for its style.
