Collina Serragrilli – Starderi – 2014

Medium deep ruby colour with an orange hue and mature rim. Perfumed and sweet nose, youthful but still with some layers and complexity, there is tobacco, red berries, Kirsch, Cassis and spice box with modest oak. Medium to full palate, with a youthful texture, rather mild tannin but high acidity, crushed red berry and plum notes with a long finish. Still a bit restrained needing time but fine pillars for evolution.
