Dark inky core and a garnet rim. Some new oak and toast on the nose, sweet plum and crushed berries with some pepper and butterscotch notes. Medium weight on the palate, nicely rounded with juicy young fruit and a rather fine length, still some oak presence, otherwise a good drinkability today.
