Inky dark core and a garnet rim. Pure nose showing good ripeness, black cherry, cassis, floral violet notes, mint, sage, and tobacco with mild oak. The palate shows great density and concentration with a modest extraction, refreshing tannin, spicy orange zest, aniseed, sage notes, with ample dark fruit, muscular and long finish.
