Deep purple core with an aged ruby rim. Ripe nose showing some maturity, leather, tobacco, dark berries, cassis and some new oak notes. Rich palate, still a youthful texture but starting to shed its tannins, layers of spicy dark fruit and a long finish. Can still improve and soften from further ageing.
