Concha y Toro – Don Melchor – 2021

Inky dark purple core and a garnet hue. Pure and dark fruity in a cooler profile with graphite, cassis, dark plum, violet, sage, mint, tobacco and fine leather with mild oak underneath. The palate is not bold, rather plenty of dense fruit and muscles in a medium body with great purity and persistency lifted by powdery tannin, layers of floral dark fruit and a very long, "positively austere" in the freshness sense finish. still plenty of room for development.
