Dark purple core. Mature nose with spicy hints, sweet dark fruit, prune, dried cherry and liquorice with roasted oak. The palate is still youthful with a fresh acidity, roasted oak flavours, grippy tannin and discreet fruit. Rather long but still appearing rather oaky and tannic on the finish.
