Inky dark purple colour and hue. Intense and generous nose, some balsamic notes, ripe dark fruit, kirsch and liquorice. The palate is bold and broad, sweet oak presence, massive dark fruit, rounded texture and long fleshy finish, a bit on the sweet side with plenty of oak, should soften from further ageing.
