Medium deep garnet towards a ruby rim. Pure nose, some maturity and complexity in a traditional long oak-aged style, red berries, sour cherry, tobacco, pepper, mild oak and butterscotch notes. Good grip and structure, still youthful but balanced extraction, refreshing and grainy tannins, digest young fruit and a long pure finish.
