Medium to deep garnet with a mature ruby rim. Complex and layered nose displaying mild oak-derived spice, ripe cherry, chocolate praline, red berries and tobacco. Dense palate with a fine extraction, grainy and powdery tannins, a fresh acidity giving lift to seemingly sweet red fruit flavours, sweet notes of cocoa and tobacco, yet remaining dry with good layers and a long persistent finish.
