Cordero di Montezemolo – Gattera – 2012

Medium deep ruby colour, still with a purple hue. Floral and perfumed with darker fruit like black cherry and blackberry with some nutty and spicy notes like clove and ginger with discreet wood in the background. The palate has good grip and flavour intensity in a medium body, well rounded tannin and integrated acidity, juicy and fresh dark fruit, some peppery notes and a long lingering finish. Already good even if potent.
