Bright light ruby/orange colour. Mature and developed nose offering candied fruit, dried cherry, mild spices, tobacco and truffle. The palate is dense but silky with ripe fruit and a rounded texture, kirsch and cassis flavours with wet tobacco and sweet spices, and a long, lingering and intense finish. Nice layers and complexity.
