Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with a quite dense core here, dark ruby red, slightly more evolution on the rim here, leaning towards tawny. Quite intense nose here, we have a certain evolution and complexity here, we have some dried fruitiness like prune, red cherry, leather, some notes of wood. Palate has medium weight, a bit more than that, but it’s still not a really bold or super heavy style. We have a good degree of freshness, the tannins are just about to round, they’re still present here; we feel them but they’re nicely integrated here. We have fresh red fruit like raspberry, red cherry, a mild spiciness; a hint of wood present here, and a rather medium towards long finish. With a certain aeration, I think this has a nice drinkability, but it’s certainly a style that would benefit from another few years in the cellar.
