Couly Dutheil – Clos de L’Echo – 2015

Medium deep ruby/purple hue. Fragrant nose blending red and dark fruit with fine oak, tobacco and an herbal spiciness. Rather dense palate, still a bit tight and tannic but elegant fruit with red currant and plum flavours, a fresh backbone and a long finish. A style deemed to age for a long time, still needing a few years.
