Cousino Macul – Lota – 2010

Dense dark core with a rusty ruby rim. The nose is mature and complex with earthy notes, black truffle, tobacco, cocoa, cassis and dried fruit. The palate is full and just about rounded with nice complexity and layers, elegant fruit with floral and spicy notes, and a long and lingering finish. Perfect drinkability today but still a fine potential for further cellaring.
