Inky dark purple colour. Pure nose offering ripe dark fruit - blackberry, cassis and plum with mild oak and spicy licorice notes. The palate is dense and modern with rounded extract, grainy tannin, spicy dark berry flavours, and high ripeness, yet with good freshness underneath a long and muscular finish. Ambitious and well-made.
