Cafayate Valley

Argentina,
Cafayate Valley,
Medium towards deep ruby-red colour, with a slightly faded rim. The noses starts out discreetly. It feels very young so far, with those primary fruit there, red and dark berries, some notes of red currant and plum. No oak noticeable. The palate has medium weight. It is a subtle and soft texture. Not a lot of tannin. Rather just freshly crushed berries, like sweet red berries, plum, there is a mild spiciness on the finish. Quite light and rounded. This one is offering a lot of pleasure today. So in this soft and subtle style, well made for quite early drinking I would say.
