Medium deep ruby red with some age on the rim. The nose shows some new wood and vanilla, ripe slightly jammed fruit like red berries and cherry. Concentrated palate, ripe tannin but still a bit young with elevated tannin and acidity, elegant sweet red fruit, fine spices and a long, warm finish, could still benefit from some further ageing.
