Inky almost black core. Rather discreet fruit, dark and ripe, still with a dominance of oak. Rather high extraction/tannin on the palate, restrained fruit, some oaky notes and a long tight finish. Dense and ample but a bit youthful still on the extracted and oaky side needing time to open.
