Italy,
Veneto,
Developed colour here, with a medium deep ruby nuance. Rather tawny rim. The nose has some evolution as well, displaying quite dried fruit, dried cherry, some prune. Sweet spices, a hint of pepper, orange peel. The palate is mature as well, well-rounded with soft tannin. Quite dense fruit. There is a slight hint of sweetness, particularly on the mid-palate towards the finish. Still a good freshness and it appears slightly drier with a medium towards long finish. So well-made in a traditional style, with a certain complexity and good level of drinkability today.
