Dark purple core. Rather ambitious nose of new oak, ripe dark fruit, cassis, cherry and spice box. The palate is dense and weighty, still on the youthful side with a dense tannic core, fresh dark berry fruit, cassis and Kirsch flavours, well integrated oak and notes of cigar box, long and weighty finish with layers of finely spicy dark fruit, a vigorous wine that will develop for a long time.
