Dense dark core, lighter rim. Some development on the nose, a hint of new oak, leather, tobacco, sweet fruit and crème de cassis. Very full and grippy palate, high tannin, not harsh but still youthful and grippy, nice dark fruit and a long dense finish. Ambitious and concentrated, just needing some more time to soften.
