The colour is dense but has turned into ruby. Fine intensity on the nose, sweet fruit character with fig, prune, red berries, liquorice, clove and tobacco aromas. The palate is ample and combines sweet fruit with a fresh backbone, still a rather young texture, balanced in a warm and lush style with fine length.
