Dark purple colour. Youthful and a bit closed nose with spicy pepper notes, a hint of raw meat, dark berries and gentle oak, needs some time to open though. The palate has a dense structure, ripe and dark fruit with peppery and spicy notes, and a long and layered finish. Plenty of stuffing here, still just young and unresolved needing time on the cellar or long time in the decanter.
